6.06.2023 NEDonBoard Roundtable: Sustainability reporting

This roundtable is an opportunity to discuss with board level peers good practices in relation to sustainability reporting. With participation from board members of different sectors and industries, participants will share experiences as well as learn from your peers.

This session is open to:

• Experienced NEDs and board chairs of Audit & Risk Committees and ESG Committees
• ESG experts with board experience

We will begin with a brief update by Phil Fitz-Gerald, Director of the FRC’s Reporting Lab, focused on ESG data and sustainability reporting. The conversation will then be broadened to welcome input from NED peers on wider sustainability reporting experiences, challenges and good practices, chaired by NEDonBoard member Cynthia Alers. Cynthia is an experienced non-executive director, specialising in capital markets, finance and investor relations. As Audit Committee Chair for Orwell Housing Association and previously for the Port of Dover, she has worked extensively on incorporating sustainability, ESG and the path to net zero into financial reporting and risk management frameworks.

NEDonBoard members are prioritised and attendance is limited as this is a small peer group discussion.
