NEDonBoard, Manchester: NED – Business Networking Event
October 15 @ 4:15 pm - 5:45 pm
Co-hosted by NEDonBoard and PwC Scale, we are pleased to welcome our NED, Board and Board Advisor community to join us for an opportunity to network with fellow board members, as well as engage with PwC Scale’s business cohort.
If you’re an experienced or aspiring non-executive director, you’ll be also interested to hear our experienced NED guest speaker’s experiences and insight to complement this social NED networking occasion.
Developing your board level network with fellow NEDs, Chairmen, CEOs, CFOs, COOs, head hunters and board advisors is particularly important – many non-executive director roles, particularly within SMEs, come through those you know – you want to be known to them when their boards are looking to appoint a new NED.
Why entrepreneurs and SMEs need non-executive directors and/or advisory board members
Both non-executive directors and advisory board members bring entrepreneurs a wealth of resources, including contacts, partners and access to resources. They contribute their experience and expertise and complement the skills of the entrepreneurs and his/her team. They provide a sounding board, manage complex decision-making and contribute to the growth and success of the business. In addition, their presence promotes investor confidence by increasing the value of the business and likelihood of attracting external funding.
How NEDonBoard can help entrepreneurs and SMEs increase the likelihood of success of their companies?
NEDonBoard members are experienced professionals who are looking to contribute their skills, expertise and experience to businesses. This event provides opportunity for board members to meet fellow board members as well as businesses which can benefit from their expertise.
