SUMMARY:Raising the Governance Bar: Applying Sustainability (ESG) Standards to Every Board
DESCRIPTION:Join fellow experienced NEDs for a peer-led roundtable exploring how the latest sustainability (ESG) standards can strengthen governance across all boards—not only those formally in scope of new reporting requirements. \nDesigned for experienced NEDs\, including those who serve on sustainability committees or whose boards have implemented sustainability practices\, this interactive discussion provides a supportive forum to share insights\, challenges and practical approaches. By exploring sustainability with fellow board leaders\, participants will gain diverse perspectives on ESG and sustainability board oversight\, risk\, strategy and long-term value creation\, helping to identify governance practices that can enhance board effectiveness regardless of sector or organisational size. \nEvery attendee is invited to contribute\, creating a trusted environment for open dialogue\, peer learning and the exchange of board-level experience. Leave with practical ideas\, fresh perspectives and valuable connections to help raise the governance bar in your own boardroom. \nThis session will be chaired by portfolio board member Tania Songini. \nTo Attend: \nPlease register to attend. \nNEDonBoard members who meet the roundtable criteria are prioritised and attendance is limited as this is a small peer group discussion\, allowing for interactive participation.
