Phoenix Futures London
Board Member (Chair of the Audit and Control Committee)
Phoenix Futures is looking for a new member to join the Board and chair our Audit and Control Committee.
Working across both England and Scotland Phoenix Futures is the only national substance misuse charity that is also a housing association. For more than 45 years we have been providing residential, prison, community, housing and specialist services helping and supporting people to achieve long term recovery.
With an income of over £21million, employing 460 staff supported by 120 volunteers we do not aspire to be the biggest, but rather the Best – something officially recognised by our EFQM 5 Star Excellence Award.
Our present Chair of the Audit and Control Committee is reluctantly stepping down from the Board, having served the maximum term of office. We are now looking for an individual who will bring the same passion for excellence in finance and good governance.
With a recognised accountancy qualification, experience of the voluntary sector (and ideally housing), do you have the commitment and drive to ensure that Phoenix Futures continues to be able transform the lives of individuals and families affected by drug and alcohol problems? If so we would love to hear from you.
