Citizens Advice Bracknell and District is a charity which helps improve the lives of over 2,500 local people a year. Increasing demand for our services and a need to diversify our sources of income mean a time of significant and exciting change.  We’re looking for a Chair of Trustees who can lead the Trustee Board and CEO in defining and delivering that change.

To be successful, you will have worked at a senior level, ideally within a service delivery organisation, and will be able to build strong relationships with the CEO, trustees and external stakeholders.

In addition you will be able to bring to the role:

A strong and visible passion and commitment to the charity, its strategic objectives and cause.
The ability to lead and facilitate change, to listen and engage, and to make sound decisions in the interest of our clients.

The ability to build and maintain strong relationships, and to influence and negotiate with a variety of stakeholders and funders.

The ability to think strategically and to understand the social, political and financial context in which the service operates.

The time and energy to commit to the role of Chair to ensure the continued success of the service in a period of change and funding challenges.
