Our governing body, the Council, plays a significant role in ensuring the effective governance and success of the University. In a rapidly changing external environment and with an increasing emphasis on regulation and accountability, Council business is growing in complexity. We are therefore looking to appoint up to three exceptional external Council Members who will make a significant contribution to the University’s future direction of travel and to the effective operation of Council.
We are seeking individuals with outstanding strategic leadership experience, gained in the public, private or voluntary sectors, who will be able to provide expertise valuable to the governing body. Expressions of interest from individuals with experience in and/or knowledge of finance, marketing/communications and the Higher Education arena are particularly welcomed. A strong personal commitment to the values, aims and objectives of the University is also essential.
