Overview

THE ALBERT KENNEDY TRUST (AKT) IS THE NATIONAL LGBT YOUTH HOMELESSNESS CHARITY.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the board to deliver on their new strategy and develop the organisation’s presence as a national provider.

You will come from either the business or voluntary sector where you will have gained governance and leadership experience at a senior level and will have demonstrable experience in either the field of income generation and/or fundraising. You will be able to share your knowledge and expertise of managing a diverse portfolio of generated income.

We are also seeking to appoint a second Trustee from a legal background who will fulfil the Company Secretary role and advise colleagues on risk and compliance issues

This is a great opportunity to contribute to making a real difference to young people’s lives.
