The Board currently comprises three senior officers. A fourth non-executive member is sought with a commercial housing development background or similar to provide commercial expertise and challenge to the business. The role requires approximately one day a month in preparatory reading and attending a monthly Board meeting in Wolverhampton City Centre. This is a remunerated position for the right candidate, however, it also offers the opportunity for someone with a successful development or building career behind them to contribute to the City’s housing and economic renaissance. Your expertise will assist in providing much needed new homes whilst achieving a return for the local authority that can be reinvested in the community.
WV Living is primarily building houses for sale, but some homes are for market rent and 25% of all new homes will be much needed council housing.
