Overview

You are looking to join our Board at an exciting time for target shooting, following our success at the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games, and as we make our plans and preparations for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Our current Board members offer a wide range of skills and experiences and we are looking for a set of skills in these appointments in order to complement these and maintain the overall balance of the Board.

We are particularly seeking to recruit Independent Non-Executive Directors with a proven track record at a strategic level in one or more of the following areas:

·      Fundraising

·      Marketing

·      Business Development

The Independent Non-Executive Director roles typically require a time commitment of on average 1 day per month. Most meetings are held in Bisham Abbey or Bisley but national and international travel may be required.

British Shooting are an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion, belief and gender.
