Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services;
Working Age Mental Health services;
Mental health services for older people;
NHS learning disabilities services.
We also provide a number of specialist services and working in partnership with a range of 3rd Sector organisations including MIND & Action for Children.
We are seeking to appoint a Non-Executive Director to our Board. In this key role you will:
Provide leadership, with fellow Directors, to ensure we deliver high quality services in line with our key strategic objectives, which are: Continuous Quality Improvement, Building Engagement and Ensuring Sustainable Services;
Provide independent advice and counsel on the strategic direction of the Trust, ensuring constructive challenge and scrutiny on our current and future business plans;
Role model the values and principles of the Trust.
We are seeking a skilled communicator and influencer, who possesses excellent leadership skills and a depth of experience at Board level within a large and complex organisation. Ideally candidates will bring a significant track record of achievement as either an executive, a non-executive director in a complex service-provision environment, or, as a General Practitioner with extensive primary care experience.
You will be joining us at a time when we have recently agreed to work towards a merger with Gloucestershire Care Services NHS Trust with the aim of providing seamless mental, learning disability and physical health services to patients, service users and carers. The proposed integrated Trust will employ over 5,000 people providing high quality healthcare services to people across Gloucestershire and Herefordshire.
