Orkney is leading the world in the development of marine renewable energy and we have an exciting opportunity that can place you right at the heart of the industry.

The Board wish to appoint a non-executive director to strengthen the Board into the next phase of development. We are seeking applications from individuals with a proven track record in an appropriate field of engineering or R&D commercialisation. It is preferred that they have a good existing network reaching into both industry and academia and have operated at senior positions in their respective organisations.

EMEC values diversity. In light of the current composition of the Board we would particularly welcome applications from suitably qualified and experienced female candidates.

The appointment will be for a period of 3 years from 1 July 2017 with an anticipated time commitment of not less than 30 days per annum and remuneration of £14,400 per annum.

Do you want to lead the charge in the marine energy revolution?

Send your CV and a letter to info@emec.org.uk detailing what you would bring to EMEC and how you anticipate helping the development of EMEC going forward.
