Equation are looking to recruit committed individuals to expand our range of Trustee skills as well as to consolidate existing skills to commit to our strategy. We require dynamic and motivated people who are sympathetic to the aims and objectives of Equation to fulfil these voluntary duties. We expect Trustees to contribute actively to the Board by giving strategic direction; setting overall policy; defining goals and setting targets; evaluating performance; ensuring the charity’s effective and efficient administration and financial stability.
We want to have a wide range of people on the Board and you should be enthusiastic, committed and be willing to learn about Equations visions and values.
We are particularly interested in trustees that may be able to bring skills around business development, trusts fundraising and people from the Education Sector aswell as those with knowledge about the Domestic Abuse sector.
Trustees are expected to
– attend up to six meetings a year including sub-committee meetings.
– get involved in support work
– contribute advice and support on an ad hoc basis; and
– attend events.
