The National Paralympic Heritage Trust are looking to appoint up to three independent Trustees.

You could be drawn from the world of culture, heritage, disability or sport, or beyond, but you will share our passion for preserving and celebrating the heritage of the UK as the birth place of the Paralympic movement and it is likely you will have an understanding of, and access to, important networks or contacts in the sport and/or heritage sectors. You will also need to be committed to our aims and values, and to equality and diversity.

We are looking for skills and experience in one of the following areas:

– Culture and heritage sector – including collections and archives, and engagement in particular.
– Fundraising experience – particularly in the cultural sector.
– Finance experience – ideally with a formal financial qualification to support sound financial management within the Trust.

We value diversity throughout our organisation and we are specifically looking to improve disability and ethnic diversity of our board as well as the gender balance.  As well as welcoming applications from everyone, we are therefore particularly keen to encourage candidates with disabilities, from BAME groups and women to apply.
