We are now seeking two new trustees to join the board in leading the Foundation’s strategic direction, financial management and governance. You will have a strategic outlook and the personal credibility to contribute as part of an engaged and forward-thinking board.
We welcome applicants from all sectors, and in particular, we are looking for people who bring experience of at least one of the following: grant-making, monitoring and evaluation, housing and of influencing social change.
We value diversity and encourage applications from disabled and black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds as these are currently under represented on our board.
About Nationwide Foundation
At the heart of what we do at the Nationwide Foundation is a commitment to tackling the root causes of social disadvantage and inequality. To do this we support and enable remarkable organisations and people that share our drive for finding ways to create long-term change. We also know that as well as funding others, we have a role in making that change happen.
In 2013, we launched the Decent Affordable Homes strategy to address the lack of good quality and affordable homes for people in need. This is a strategy that is about people, families and communities and one that we are committed to until at least 2026 in recognition of the complexity and severity of the housing crisis and its impact.
