DESCRIPTION:This NED Meet will begin with latest insights on the people/employee considerations for NEDs\, including a presentation by Jeff Middleton providing a legal perspective from DAC Beachcroft; as well as a member case study from Rob McKay on becoming a B-Corp with a focus on the people aspect and his learnings in this journey. \nThere will also be plenty of opportunity to network with your NED peers at this session – reconnecting or establishing new board level connections in a face-to-face environment. \nBuilding and maintaining a board level network is an important component of developing a non-executive director portfolio. Many NED appointments still originate through word of mouth; and as business and governance evolve\, discussing current boardroom themes with fellow board members provides a path to continued growth. \nTo Attend: \nPlease register to attend. \nThis session is open to NEDonBoard members only. \nThe location is DAC Beachcroft’s offices in Manchester.
