This session is designed for: Board Chairs, NomCo members; and those transitioning into the boardroom who want a clear, current, and practical understanding of succession planning and board search.
- Current trends in board succession planning, including the skills, capabilities, and attributes most in demand.
- Best-practice approaches to aligning organisational strategy, board composition, and long-term succession needs.
- Expert board search insights from GatenbySanderson as well as Warren Partners, offering a practitioner’s view of how boards and search firms assess candidates.
- The nuances of succession and board search, and what these mean in practice for boards planning ahead and for individuals positioning themselves for appointment.
The session will also explore how boards approach cross-sector appointments, with attendees from a variety of sectors (commercial through to public sector) and professional backgrounds.
