Hybrid: Evolution of Cyber Risk, Scenarios & Board Governance
October 10, 2023 | 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
£50 – £100This hybrid event (attend in-person or online) focuses on the evolution of cyber risk and leading practices for boards.
Is cyber security top of your board agenda? Do you understand the changing cyber risk landscape and leading practices expected of modern boards in relation to cyber security?
On October 10th, NEDonBoard, Institute of Board Members together with the National Cyber Security Centre, will be updating the board community of the evolution of the cyber landscape, sharing a case study example of a cyber attack scenario, and presenting leading practices for boards in relation embedding cyber resilience into business.
Beginning the session with an overview of the regulatory landscape is law firm Herbert Smith Freehills. Joining the panel is a CISO who has experience of a cyber attack; and a NED who has experience of the aftermath of a cyber attack as well as engagement in the development of how boards can approach cyber governance.
The session will also consider risk mitigation with expert insights from Cyemptive Technologies, an award-winning provider of pre-emptive cybersecurity solutions.
A well-rounded discussion on cyber at board level, this session is worthwhile for NEDs of all types and size of organisation.
