Workshop: How to Identify, Scrutinise and Articulate your Value as a NED and Chair
May 13 | 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
Free – £150- clarify where you genuinely add board value (and where you don’t), and
- pressure-test how that value and what you communicate is perceived by boards and search firms
This event brings together board search perspectives with experts from GatenbySanderson and Warren Partners, alongside a reputation lens from ReputationDefender.
You will learn what information board search firms rely on when evaluating potential NED and Chair appointments, how online presence is scrutinised as part of due diligence, and how candidates can strengthen their positioning. The panel will also explore how to align your experience with organisational strategy, board composition and role specifications—highlighting how AI can support this process.
Following the panel, participants will take part in an interactive workshop led by ReputationDefender, focusing on how to leverage AI tools to review, refine and articulate your unique board value proposition.
This session also offers a valuable opportunity to network with board search professionals and peers from the NED community, making it both a learning and relationship-building experience.
Speakers:
- Mark Turner, Partner at board search firm GatenbySanderson
- Tim Kemp, Partner at board and executive search firm Warren Partners
- And online reputation expertise from Upinder (Paul) Thiara of ReputationDefender
