About the Speakers:
- Frank Brown is a NED and board advisor. He currently serves on the board of a Fintech credit card provider. He is also a consultant specialising in Governance, Risk and Regulatory frameworks, having previously been a Senior Director with Hogan Lovells.
- Jill Dodds was appointed to The Bank of New York Mellon (International) Board as an independent non-executive director on 21 June 2021. She serves as Chair of the Company’s Nomination Committee of the Board (SMF 13) also sits on both the Audit and Risk Committees. Jill is a former accomplished Senior Executive Managing Director. Her Senior Executive role was at UBS Global Asset Management, where as Chair of the European Equities Board, comprising twenty Senior Investors, she contributed to European assets under management expanding from $20bn to $80bn and as Co-Head of Global Equity Investment increased the Global Equity mandates from almost zero to $40bn largely sourced in the US. She personally managed both European and Global Equity Funds and has a deep understanding of risk and return. Jill also ran her own Board Advisory business for ten years working with companies in Financial Services, Renewable Energy and Intellectual Property.
- Sundeep Bhandari is a seasoned independent NED, whose current board portfolio includes a number of roles within financial services. He typically serves on audit, risk and compliance committees; and is a SID, Vice Chair or Board Chair. Sundeep also serves on the board of a non-profit and is also a Magistrate.
- Louise Wilson, a portfolio board member across a multitude of sectors (including a recent (2024) appointment within FS on the board of a building society) will be chairing the discussion.
