Strategies to Become a NED in 2024
January 30 | 8:45 am - 9:30 am
£50A common misconception is that executive experience automatically translates to appointability as a NED.
The reality is that this transition can take more consideration and preparation than might be expected. Furthermore, a strategic approach is also required to continue in one’s evolution as a NED and in developing a NED portfolio.
With a decade of experience supporting the board community in preparing for non-executive director roles and then excelling in the boardroom, this event is an opportunity to learn some top tips and strategies for becoming a NED in 2024.
The session will be chaired by NEDonBoard team member Elise Perraud. Elise has supported hundreds of professionals in their successful transition to non-executive directorship. A risk manager and governance practitioner by background, Elise has 15 years of experience in the financial services sector and board experience as Secretary and Chief Credit Officer. She is currently an executive board member, a non-executive committee member and a board trustee.
